Key Responsibilities

  • Advise on data governance policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Provide expertise on data protection and security, including data access and sharing
  • Review and develop data policy documents to ensure alignment with organizational goals
  • Governance and audit of role-based access to data and systems to support ISO compliance
  • Sharepoint administration and management
  • MS DevOps boards for project planning and management
  • Basic SQL and knowledge of relational database schema
  • Effective communication and influencing skills to engage with stakeholders

Requirements

  • 2-3+ years' experience in a Data Governance Advisor role, preferably in a highly regulated sector
  • Strong understanding of data protection and security regulations
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills
  • Local to Sussex and willing to travel to Brighton as required
