Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Engineering Manager in the day-to-day management of the engineering function
  • Ensure vehicle availability and continually improve standards
  • Contribute to Health & Safety compliance and culture, fatigue management, and employee wellbeing
  • Plan, prioritise, analyse, and make decisions to drive business success

Requirements

  • Thorough understanding of mechanical engineering and vehicle maintenance procedures for large vehicles
  • Knowledge of electrical engineering, bodywork construction, and basic stores procedures
  • Ability to gain a Transport CPC, if requested
  • Up-to-date understanding of Health & Safety legislation
