Key Objectives

The Head of Programmes will be responsible for delivering key objectives, including:

  1. Leading project managers assigned to a portfolio of projects, ensuring delivery against in-year and strategic objectives.
  2. Serving as Senior Customer POC, providing financial, delivery, and customer satisfaction performance updates.
  3. Achieving annual sales goals of £30M, return of 25% Net Margin, £5M orders, and 100% On-Time Delivery (OTD).
  4. Capturing new and follow-on business opportunities, developing solutions acceptable to all stakeholders.

Responsibilities and Requirements

  • Lead project managers assigned to a portfolio of projects, ensuring delivery against in-year and strategic objectives.
  • Serve as Senior Customer POC to provide financial, delivery, and customer satisfaction performance updates.
  • Responsible for achieving annual sales goals of £30M, return of 25% Net Margin, £5M orders, and 100% On-Time Delivery (OTD).
  • Capture new and follow-on business opportunities, developing solutions acceptable to all stakeholders.
  • Work with the PMO to set up and maintain performance metrics, including finance, deliver, risk, and change that inform emerging problems.
  • Rapidly process project data to deliver data-driven decisions using EVM, SRA, and other tools.
  • Demonstrate strong communications skills, regular senior briefings, and senior customer stakeholder reviews.
  • Collaborate with the PMO to develop and implement company-wide Project Management processes.
  • Participate in business transformation activities to improve performance and deliver improved Net Margin across the project portfolio.
  • Lead project managers to develop their capabilities to meet current and future business needs.
