As a Care Assistant, your day will be filled with a variety of tasks that promote independence, dignity, and well-being for our clients. Some of your responsibilities may include:
- Companionship - providing emotional support and being a friendly face
- Personal Care - assisting with daily living activities such as washing, dressing, and using the bathroom
- Medication - reminding clients to take their medication and collecting prescriptions
- Mealtimes - preparing healthy meals and snacks
- Housework - assisting with laundry, cleaning, and tidying
- Errands - accompanying clients on shopping trips and running errands
- Mobility - assisting clients with mobility issues, such as getting in and out of bed or using a wheelchair
What You'll Need
We don't require previous experience or qualifications, but we do ask for a caring and reliable attitude, a driving license, access to a vehicle, and the right to work in the UK.
