Job Description

As a Financial Operations Specialist at Accor Hotel, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth execution of financial processes and functions. This multifaceted position encompasses the coordination and collection of financial information, as well as various secretarial and general administration duties.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Accounts Payable Management: Ensure that invoices are received, approved, and processed in a timely manner.
  • F&B Cost Control: Record, analyze, and control F&B costs and revenues using the Accor-specific Marge Brut tool to maintain low cost margins.
  • Audit Compliance: Implement and adhere to Accor-specific Financial Audit controls in the F&B department.
  • Stock Management: Conduct regular stocktaking and spot checks in all stock storage areas.
  • Team Supervision: Supervise, train, and motivate the F&B team.
  • Cost Optimization: Develop potential Cost of Sales and future menu pricing adjustments with F&B Team Leaders.
  • Revenue Tracking: Ensure accurate recording of food and beverage revenues through the POS system by conducting spot checks and communicating any shortages/losses to management.
  • Theoretical Reporting: Produce theoretical food and beverage reports for each outlet highlighting revenue expectations based on actual costs and variances against actual revenues.
  • Variance Analysis: Investigate differences between actual and theoretical results and report to senior management.
  • Cost Analysis: Assist the Hotel Management team in analyzing costs and provide expert assistance in identifying areas for improvement.
  • Reporting: Produce reports for management, including a monthly F&B pack (sales performance and discrepancies).
  • Assistance: Assist the Accounts Payable function during the month-end process.
  • Liaison: Liaise and communicate with all Departmental managers.
  • Flexibility: Be flexible in working in other areas of the accounting function as assigned by the Director of Finance/Finance Manager for career development.
