Industrial Door Engineer Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Industrial Door Engineer to join our team in the North East of England.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Servicing, installing, and repairing industrial and specialist doors, including roller shutters, sectional overhead doors, and rapid rise roll-up doors.
  • Attending site visits, fault finding, estimating repair requirements, and providing fault diagnosis and service calls.
  • Advising customers on potential equipment faults and completing reports, job sheets, and basic administration on mobile tablets.
  • Maintaining personal van stock levels and ensuring accurate time sheet reporting.

Requirements:

  • Relevant qualifications for industrial door works and previous experience.
  • Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team.
  • Flexible working hours, including weekends and out-of-hours work.
  • Good customer service skills and physical fitness to work at heights.
  • Desirable qualifications include IPATH & CSCS, PASMA, and previous field work experience within the industry.

Benefits:

  • Possible earnings of £50,000 per annum.
