About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Operative to join our team at Lidl in Deutschland. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the upkeep and improvement of our stores across your region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out structural maintenance in both stores and warehouses, including groundwork repairs and plumbing.
  • Attend to general building and labouring work, including decorating and painting.
  • Confidently carry out general plumbing duties and frequently use power tools.
  • Undertake PPM (Planned Preventative Maintenance) visits to store and work proactively to find and repair faults.

Requirements

  • Experience in general maintenance work, with a strong focus on problem-solving and attention to detail.
  • Strong numeracy skills and the ability to prioritize conflicting deadlines.
  • Flexibility with regards to working hours, including some evenings and weekends.
  • Relevant qualifications, such as NVQ or BTEC, are desirable.
