Job Title: Purchasing Coordinator

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Purchasing Coordinator to join our team at Newly Weds Foods. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for directing and coordinating the purchase of materials for our company, ensuring that they meet specifications, budgets, and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze daily stock requirement reports and place purchase orders using established suppliers and pricing structures.
  • Monitor purchase orders to ensure timely delivery, quality, and compliance with company standards.
  • Maintain regular contact with suppliers to resolve any issues and meet production requirements.
  • Collaborate with factory management, planning, and customer service departments to minimize any issues impacting customer requirements.
  • Update raw material 'Goods In' schedules for the warehouse department, ensuring timely delivery and minimizing adverse factors.
  • Perform associated administration tasks, such as matching GRNs and scanning inbound trailer sheets.
  • Work with accounts and buyers to resolve invoice queries.
  • Assist inventory and supply chain managers with weekly/monthly raw material reporting demands.
  • Provide cover for the team as needed.
Requirements:
  • 2 years of procurement experience.
  • Excellent communication and time management skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and work under pressure.
  • Excellent analytical skills and IT literacy, particularly in Excel.
  • Committed, reliable, and flexible team player.
  • Knowledge of ERP systems is an advantage.
What We Offer:
  • Competitive salary range of £32,000 - £35,000.
  • Location: Newly Weds Foods, Banbury.
  • Working hours: Monday to Friday, 35 hours per week.
