About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Geospatial Surveyor to join our team at Ecruit. As a Geospatial Surveyor, you will be responsible for conducting topographical surveys, measured building surveys, and engineering surveys across various sectors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct topographical surveys, measured building surveys, and engineering surveys using various equipment and techniques.
  • Complete office-based survey delivery using survey and CAD software.
  • Follow survey data management best practices and adhere to company quality procedures.
  • Plan and manage survey operations in line with client and manager requirements.
  • Quality check work and communicate findings.
  • Ensure all survey equipment is calibrated and assigned surveyors are competent in their tasks.
  • Follow and contribute to method statements and risk assessments for all survey operations.
  • Ensure a safe system of work is in place for all survey activities and that surveys comply with site Health and Safety arrangements.

Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years of surveying experience.
  • Survey expertise in several sectors and types.
  • UK driving license.
  • Competent use of various survey and data capture equipment.
  • Competence in CAD and survey processing software.
  • High quality and discipline with all surveying methods, data management, and deliverables.
  • Strong problem-solving, self-management, and people skills.
  • Ability to work effectively alone and as part of a team.
  • Freedom to travel across the UK with some overnight stays.
  • Eligible and able to work in the UK.
