AECOM is seeking an experienced Environmental Project Manager to join our team in the Northeast region. As a key member of our environmental consulting team, you will be responsible for managing complex investigation and remediation projects, working closely with clients and regulatory agencies to deliver high-quality results.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage project scope, schedule, and budget for complex investigation and remediation projects
- Lead project managers to deliver internal and external key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Build and maintain strong client relationships
- Develop and implement effective project management strategies
- Collaborate with project teams, clients, and stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery
- Ensure quality control of tasks and adherence to health and safety protocols
- Travel to project sites as required
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Soil Science, Geology, or a related field
- 6+ years of project management experience in environmental consulting
- Experience working with environmental regulatory agencies in CT, MA, NH, ME, RI, and/or VT
- 40-Hour HAZWOPER Training
- US citizenship required
Preferred Qualifications:
- 15+ years of experience in environmental consulting with a focus on site investigation and remediation
- 8 years of project management experience
- Experience managing teams and other project managers
