Orthotist Specialist

Blatchford is a leading manufacturer of advanced prosthetic technology, bespoke seating solutions, and orthotic devices. We are committed to improving patient care and are seeking an experienced Orthotist to join our team.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled Orthotist to provide high-quality clinical orthotic care to our patients. The successful candidate will have a strong background in prosthetics and orthotics, with experience in a wide range of orthotic provision, including paediatrics, orthopaedics, and footwear.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess and manage a caseload of clients with complex conditions, recommending the best course of intervention.
• Communicate effectively with patients, discussing treatment options and providing counselling and support as needed.
• Provide training in the field of orthotics at all levels.
• Maintain accurate clinical notes and records.

Requirements:

• Qualified in Prosthetics/Orthotics.
• HCPC registration.
• Member of BAPO/ISPO (desirable).
• Experience in a wide range of orthotic provision.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
