Senior Radiological Safety Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Senior Radiological Safety Engineer to join our team at TQR Consultancy Ltd. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our Cobalt 60 steriliser.
About the Role- This is a challenging opportunity for a skilled engineer to utilise their expertise in radiological safety requirements, licensing and permits associated with the operation of industrial irradiators.
- You will work closely with our senior team members to ensure strict adherence to radiological safety procedures and training.
Your responsibilities will include investigating new and current industrial irradiator technology and dosimetry methods, providing engineering and technical support to the team, and reporting on engineering-related topics to plant management and other stakeholders.
As a Senior Radiological Safety Engineer, you will have a degree in Science or Engineering related discipline and a minimum of five years' experience working in a heavily regulated environment, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry.
Required Qualifications and Experience- Degree in Science or Engineering related discipline.
- A minimum of five years experience working in a heavily regulated environment (preferably pharmaceutical).
- Experience and ability in statistical analysis techniques.
- Project management experience, leading activities.
