Senior Chemist

As a Senior Chemist at Asymchem Group, you will be responsible for advancing research and development in synthetic organic chemistry. With a passion for innovation and a desire to make a meaningful impact on patients' lives, you will play a pivotal role in our High-Throughput Experimentation (HTE) group.

Design and develop efficient routes and processes for the large-scale manufacture of small molecules, including complex Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (APIs), for the pharmaceutical and other industries. Utilize state-of-the-art technologies and robotics to contribute to the development of novel synthetic methodologies, from organometallic chemistry to biocatalysis.

$120,000 - $150,000 per annum

• Engage in wider departmental science and share knowledge
• Develop advanced skills in data-centric process design to enable the development of efficient, sustainable, robust, and safe large-scale manufacturing processes
• Deliver innovative solutions to chemical challenges using state-of-the-art automated technologies to execute and analyze high-throughput reaction screens
