Maths Lecturer Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated Maths Lecturer to join our client in Furness on a Permanent basis. This role is based in an Ofsted rated GOOD college known for its positive and bustling atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and Deliver Educational Materials: Create high-quality learning materials to engage apprentices, school leavers, and mature students.
  • Subject Improvement Plan: Develop and implement the subject improvement plan arising from self-assessment.
  • Learning Facilitation: Develop appropriate interaction with individuals and whole groups to facilitate the learning process.
  • Course Team Support: Assist the Head of Faculty in supporting the course team in preparing and delivering courses within the College's Curriculum Plan.
  • Industry Experience Integration: Integrate Industry experience into teaching to offer practical insights.
  • College Values and Safeguarding: Promote College values and adhere to safeguarding policies.
  • Continuous Professional Development: Engage in continuous professional development opportunities.

Requirements:

  • Qualifications: Hold a minimum Level 3 qualification in Maths or related fields.
  • Certificate in Education: Certificate in Education/ PGCE or commitment to achieve within 2 years of appointment.
  • Teaching Experience: Valuable experience in teaching or relevant industry expertise.
  • Communication Skills: Strong communication skills and a genuine enthusiasm for education.
  • Student Welfare: Commitment to promoting student welfare and fostering inclusivity.
