Job Title: Accommodation Maintenance Technician

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at our state-of-the-art facility in Coventry. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our equipment and maintaining high production standards and safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical issues on machines.
  • Review electrical drawings and perform fault finding.
  • Work on preventative maintenance and update older machines.
  • Perform repairs and maintenance on CNC machines, plant, and equipment.
  • Prioritize safety for operators and maintenance personnel.
  • Conduct planned and preventive maintenance.
  • Install and refurbish plant equipment to facilitate continuous improvement of company assets.
  • Reduce downtime by monitoring and refining first-line and preventive maintenance schedules.

Requirements:

  • NVQ Level 3 in maintenance/manufacturing or equivalent.
  • Strong electrical and mechanical engineering background, ideally with an electrical bias.
  • CNC machine and machine tool experience, ideally with Mazak equipment.
  • Ability to read machine drawings and manuals (mechanical and electrical).
  • Familiarity with preventive maintenance, planned preventative maintenance (PPM), and Total Productive Maintenance (TPM).
