About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced GCSE Physical Education Examiner to join our team. As an Examiner, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and consistency of our marking processes.

Responsibilities
  • Mark candidates' responses in accordance with the pre-defined mark scheme, while adhering to conditions of recognition and examination procedures.
  • Work onscreen using ePEN, which can be done from home, or in the traditional method using paper scripts sent through the post.
  • Ensure a high level of subject knowledge is maintained to apply the mark scheme effectively.
  • Submit samples to your Team Leader at designated times and ensure milestones for marking are adhered to.
  • Complete all administration as specified.
Requirements
  • One academic year's worth of teaching experience within the last 8 years, within the relevant qualification subject, and since qualifying as a teacher.
  • A degree or equivalent qualification.
  • Qualification as a teacher.
  • The ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • A high level of subject knowledge in order to apply the mark scheme.
