Job Description:

We are seeking a Behaviour Mentor to work with our students in an Alternative Provision based in Brent. As a Behaviour Mentor, you will be responsible for supporting students with challenging behaviour, helping them to improve their wellbeing and manage their behaviour.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carrying out behaviour management in line with the school's policies and procedures
  • Supporting pupils inside and outside the classroom
  • Accompanying and supporting students with their academic and personal development
  • Being proactive in the class to ensure your learning support is tailored to each child's individual need
  • Using skills learned such as Team Teach or Manual Handling (desirable)

Requirements:

  • Passion for working with students with challenging behaviour
  • Experience in a similar role (desirable)
  • Ability to build rapport with students quickly
