Plant Inspector

Job Summary

HSB is seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our team as a Surveyor Specialist. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the statutory examination and contractual inspection obligations of our clients' plant and equipment are met.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and execute daily activities in an effective, timely, and efficient manner, with accurate records of all time involved.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety laws and company policies.
• Conduct thorough examinations and inspections of plant and equipment in accordance with applicable standards and codes of practice.
• Develop and maintain excellent client relationships, ensuring all customer service standards are met.
• Collaborate with clients to identify and address any issues or concerns.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge and understanding of statutory regulations, including LOLER, PUWER, PSSR, and COSH.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients.
• Good level of IT skills, with proficiency in Microsoft and Apple software.
• Minimum NVQ Level 4 or equivalent in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Full driving license.
