About the Role


We are seeking a Senior Metering Engineer to join our team at Reliant Resource Services. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for installing Dual Fuel Smart Meters in domestic residential properties across various locations.


Key Responsibilities



  • To install and maintain Smart Meter installations to the highest standard, ensuring customer satisfaction and adherence to company protocols.
  • Manage own stock levels on the provided van and/or via 'dropbox' facilities, maintaining accurate records and optimizing inventory levels.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service and support, providing energy efficiency advice and resolving customer queries professionally and efficiently.
  • To work closely with the Smart Metering Operations Manager to ensure daily, monthly, and quarterly targets are met, contributing to the overall success of the project.
  • Plan, organize, and manage workload effectively to meet all company deadlines, prioritizing tasks and managing time accordingly.
  • Any other duties that may be deemed necessary to fulfill this role.

Requirements



  • Demonstrated experience in dual fuel metering, with a strong understanding of Smart Meter technology and installation procedures.
  • Excellent organization and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • A proven track record of exceeding targets and meeting deadlines, with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
  • IT literacy and proficiency in using relevant software applications.
  • The ability to work calmly under pressure and maintain accuracy in challenging situations.
