  3. We are seeking a highly skilled Design Manager - Project Lead to join our team at Heron Bros, an award-winning construction and property company. As a Design Manager - Project Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing project design to ensure compliance with its objectives.
  4. Your Key Responsibilities:
    • Programme and Manage the Design Process: Lead the design process from tender to construction stages, ensuring effective management of consultants and subcontractors.
    • Review and Implement Employer Requirements: Proactively manage the implementation of employer requirements in a cost-effective manner.
    • Manage Design and Commercial Risk: Identify and mitigate design and commercial risks while maximizing value engineering opportunities.
    • Ensure Statutory and Regulatory Compliance: Ensure designs meet all necessary statutory and regulatory approvals.
    • Coordinate BIM Model Design: Coordinate BIM model design and manage clash detection.
    • Engage with Project Team: Engage with the project team and CDM Coordinator to avoid health and safety risks.
    • Maintain Professional Knowledge: Maintain professional and technical knowledge through training and development.
    • Represent Heron Bros: Represent Heron Bros in a professional and positive manner.
