About the Job

We are seeking a skilled MET Technician to join our brand-new team in Grantham. As a key member of our Accident Repair Bodyshop team, you will be responsible for carrying out mechanical and bodywork on allocated jobs, dismantling vehicles, and performing inspections and diagnostic work.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out mechanical and bodywork on allocated jobs
  • Dismantle vehicles ready for the panel shop
  • Perform inspections, fault-finding, and diagnostic work
  • Order replacement parts
  • Re-assemble vehicles with new parts as required
About You

We are looking for a motivated and experienced MET Technician who can work effectively under pressure, plan their workload, and carry out work in accordance with manufacturers' specifications. You will be part of a team and work on your own initiative with minimal supervision. You must be flexible and committed to high standards with customer satisfaction in mind.

You will ensure that all tasks carried out follow our Health and Safety guidelines, including wearing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and keeping work areas clean and tidy. We welcome applications from experienced MET Technicians in a Bodyshop environment or Level 3 qualified Vehicle Technicians looking for a change to work in a body shop.
