Early Years Team Lead

Milk Education is seeking an experienced and dedicated Early Years Lead to join our team on a maternity cover basis. As a key member of our primary school leadership team, you will be responsible for leading and managing the Early Years team to ensure high-quality teaching and learning.
Key Responsibilities:- Leadership and Management: Lead and manage the Early Years team, including teachers, support staff, and LSAs, to ensure high standards of learning and development.
- Progress and Achievement: Monitor and evaluate the progress and achievement of pupils, ensuring high standards of learning and development.
- Planning and Assessment: Oversee planning, assessment, and record-keeping processes to track children's progress effectively.
- Modeling Outstanding Practice: Model outstanding practice in early years teaching and provide guidance and support to EYFS staff.
- Safeguarding and Pupil Welfare: Take responsibility for the safeguarding and well-being of all EYFS children, following school policies and procedures.
- Professional Development: Support and mentor staff within the EYFS team, providing feedback and professional development opportunities.
In-depth knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage framework and pedagogy is essential for this role. A commitment to inclusive education and meeting the diverse needs of children is also required.
