Involve Recruitment (Midlands) Ltd is partnering with a leading fasteners manufacturer to fill a permanent CNC Programmer position.

About the Role:

  1. Operate and maintain CNC lathes, ensuring efficient production and high-quality results.
  2. Edit Fanuc controls using G codes, implementing programming changes as required.
  3. Develop expertise in offline programming of Fanuc systems.
  4. Set up machine tools without relying on probes.
  5. Analyse technical drawings to understand specifications and requirements.
  6. Monitor machinery performance, reporting any issues or anomalies.
  7. Manage coolant levels, topping them up as necessary.

Desirable Skills and Qualifications:

  1. Prior experience in the fastener industry, particularly with exotic materials, is highly valued.
  2. A minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar engineering environment or relevant industry-recognised qualifications in CNC programming, setting, and operating are essential.
