About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Live-In Care Assistant to join our team at Home Instead Gloucester and The Forest of Dean. As a Live-In Care Assistant, you will provide high-quality care and companionship to our clients in their own homes, promoting their independence and well-being.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide live-in care to clients in their homes, including assistance with daily living tasks, personal care, and medication management.
  • Offer companionship and social interaction to clients, engaging them in activities and conversations that promote their mental and emotional well-being.
  • Support clients to maintain their independence and participate in activities that bring them joy and fulfillment.
  • Perform light housekeeping tasks and assist with meal preparation and grocery shopping.
  • Assist with transportation and accompany clients to appointments and outings.

Requirements

  • Ability to treat clients with dignity and respect, promoting their independence and well-being.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients and their families.
  • Ability to adapt to changing situations and priorities, with a flexible and patient approach.
  • Reliable and organized, with a strong sense of responsibility and commitment to delivering high-quality care.
