We are seeking an experienced and passionate Information, Advice and Guidance (IAG) Tutor to join our team at HMP Five Wells. As an IAG Tutor, you will play a vital role in supporting the educational and personal development of our learners, helping them to secure future employment opportunities and make positive changes in their lives.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality certificate level lessons exploring career paths, educational options, and personal development with groups of up to 15 learners.
- Work with our dedicated team of professionals to deliver a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with learners, understanding their individual needs and goals.
- Assess and record learner progress, providing constructive feedback and guidance.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective learning programs.
- A full teaching qualification and experience teaching Information, Advice and Guidance courses required.
- Commitment to gain an assessor award required by relevant awarding bodies within one year.
- Hold at least a Level 2 qualification in Literacy and Numeracy or be willing to commit to gaining the qualification(s) within 1 year.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work with a group of learners with a range of abilities.
