Job Title: Class 1 Night Driver

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Class 1 HGV Night Driver to join our team at The Best Connection in Eastbourne. As a Class 1 Night Driver, you will be responsible for delivering goods to various hubs in the middle of the UK, working on a temporary basis.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct regular vehicle checks to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition.
  • Deliver goods to various hubs in the middle of the UK.
  • Work on a multidrop basis, delivering to multiple locations.
  • Work night shifts, typically from 19:00 to early hours of the morning.
Requirements:
  • Previous Class 2 experience.
  • Right to work in the UK.
  • Access to a device to complete an online application.
  • Full HGV C+E license with no more than six points for minor endorsements.
  • Digital Tacho and Driver Qualification Cards.
  • A good understanding of Drivers hours, regulations, and Working time directive.
  • Excellent geographical knowledge.
  • Customer focused attitude.
  • Eligibility to work in the UK.
