Functional Skills Educator

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced professional to join our team at Prospero Teaching.
As a Functional Skills Tutor, you will be working with Local Authorities in Newcastle and the surrounding area, supporting students who are facing various Social, Emotional and Mental Health challenges.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of working with students who require additional support, and be able to adapt their teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of our students.

Key responsibilities will include:
- Developing and delivering tailored learning plans to meet the needs of individual students
- Providing one-to-one and group support to students with complex needs
- Collaborating with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and effective learning environment
- Monitoring and evaluating student progress, and making adjustments to teaching methods as needed
