Homeless Solutions Director

i-Jobs is seeking a highly experienced and skilled Homeless and Housing Solutions Manager to lead our multi-disciplinary service in preventing homelessness and ensuring the fair allocation of social housing.

This challenging yet rewarding position requires someone with a proven track record in homelessness and housing advice for a local authority. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the allocation of social housing, operating the housing register, and providing support to staff members. In collaboration with teams, you will effectively manage housing performance statistics and ensure that staff are trained and coached to deliver high-quality services.

• Lead a multi-disciplinary service comprising four teams and 22 people.
• Provide 1-2-1 support and performance development for team leaders and cascade this effectively through their teams.
• Collaborate with teams to manage housing performance statistics and prevent homelessness.
• Ensure staff are trained, coached, and supported to deliver high-quality services.

Salary: £36.49 per hour

• Proven successful track record in homelessness and housing advice for a local authority.
• Experience of managing the allocation of social housing and operating the housing register.
• Detailed knowledge and experience of relevant legislation, regulations, and case law.
