Cyber Security Consultant

We're seeking a highly skilled Cyber Security Consultant to join our IT Controls programme strategy team. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in addressing deficiencies in our current IT Controls operating model and contributing to the creation of a permanent pool of resources dedicated to assuring the quality of DTS IT Controls.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct IT Controls assurance procedures to ensure the quality and effectiveness of our IT controls.
- Stay up-to-date with regulatory and contractual developments to maintain control relevance to business needs.
- Develop strategies to overcome challenges and improve our IT controls.
- Utilize your expertise in information security mechanisms, including identity/access management, encryption protocols, and multi-factor authentication systems.
- Proactively identify and mitigate cyber security risks.
- Stay informed about the energy sector's trends and security challenges.
- Apply your knowledge of regulatory frameworks and security standards, including COBIT, CPNI, NIST, ISO27xx, Cyber Essentials, and SWIFT.
- Work independently with minimal supervision, handling tasks and resources effectively while working remotely.
