About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining passive fire protection measures, ensuring compliance with relevant fire safety regulations and standards. This will involve working closely with project teams to deliver exceptional service and uphold safety and quality standards throughout the installation process.

  • Install and maintain passive fire protection systems according to current legislation and best practices.
  • Conduct site surveys to assess existing fire protection measures and recommend improvements.
  • Prepare and present detailed reports on the condition and performance of fire stopping systems.
  • Collaborate with other engineers and contractors to create effective passive fire strategies.
  • Provide training and support to onsite personnel regarding passive fire safety measures.
  • Maintain accurate records of installations, inspections, and repairs performed.
  • Ensure all safety protocols are followed and promote a culture of safety within the team.

This trainee opportunity requires candidates to have some basic experience working with passive fire protection systems. However, strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail are also essential attributes for success in this role.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To excel as a Trainee Passive Fire Engineer, you should possess:

  • Basic experience working with passive fire protection systems (advantageous).

  • A valid Full UK Driving Licence.
