Job Summary
We are looking for a Registered Mental Health Nurse to work on an ad-hoc basis in various settings, including hospitals, care homes, and the community. As a mental health nurse with Newcross, you will have the opportunity to work in a variety of roles, from short-term shifts to long-term block bookings.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality patient care, adhering to NMC standards and guidelines
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to deliver effective care plans
- Conduct thorough assessments, identify patient needs, and develop individualized care plans
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed by medical professionals
- Document patient progress, maintain accurate records, and communicate effectively with colleagues and supervisors

Requirements
- Valid NMC registration
- 6+ months post-qualification experience specific to the mental health role
- Evidence of valid PMVA training
- Up-to-date Mandatory skills for Health Training
- Up-to-date DBS check and proof of immunisations (Hepatitis B, Rubella, Varicella, TB, and Measles)
