Maintenance Engineer - Manufacturing - Stafford

Salary: £40,000 to £45,000 depending on experience

Hours: Monday to Thursday, 7:30 am to 5 pm

Annual Leave: 28 days

Pension: Available

Overtime: Available if desired

The Role:

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our busy engineering team. As a mechanically biased maintenance engineer, you will be responsible for the day-to-day upkeep of facilities, plant machinery, and equipment across all production areas, ensuring everything meets relevant safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct preventive and reactive maintenance to ensure optimal equipment performance.
  2. Perform mechanical fault finding and troubleshooting to minimize downtime.
  3. Collaborate with the engineering team to identify and implement improvements to our maintenance processes.
  4. Work closely with the production team to ensure seamless operations and minimize disruptions.

Requirements:

  1. Engineering qualification or apprentice-trained.
  2. Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
  3. Experience in a production or factory environment is beneficial.
  4. Knowledge of production maintenance, fabrication, welding, and machine setting.
  5. Commitment to high standards of health & safety, quality, and precision.
  6. Flexible, adaptable, and able to work proactively and independently.
  7. Ability to comprehend various engineering procedures and functions.
