Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Site Operations Manager to join our team at Fortis IBA's state-of-the-art IBA Processing Facility at Ridham Dock.

This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional to lead the day-to-day management of the facility, with a focus on health, safety, and environmental compliance, operational performance, and efficiency.

The successful candidate will provide proactive leadership to and be responsible for the management and development of an established operational team, championing a culture of continual improvement across all aspects of the operation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and inspire the highest standards of Health and Safety, Environmental, and Quality culture, performance, and compliance.
  • Manage, lead, and develop the site's operational team to deliver agreed throughput and yield KPIs.
  • Ensure site facilities and process equipment are maintained to ensure ongoing safe and efficient performance.
  • Mange relationships with key external stakeholders to ensure excellent service levels are maintained.
  • Contribute to the development and execution of budgeting, strategic planning, and continual improvement activities to provide class-leading performance.

Requirements:

  • A proven track record managing high-volume, highly automated production processes in a relevant sector.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills are essential.
  • Good organizational skills developed within a highly regulated industry and experience implementing and executing standard work are essential.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Relevant Health and Safety and environmental qualifications are desirable.
  • Extensive knowledge of relevant legislation and a proven track record of quarry or aggregate recycling facility management is also desirable.
  • WAMITAB Non-Hazardous waste transfer/treatment desirable.

Estimated Salary: £60,000 - £80,000 per annum
