HGV Driver - Fridge Work

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced HGV 1 Driver to join our dayshift curtain work team based in Aberdeen.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations.
  • Ensure that all goods are correctly loaded, secured, and unloaded using appropriate equipment and techniques.
  • Adhere to scheduled delivery times while maintaining high standards of customer service.
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries, vehicle checks, and hours of service.
  • Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and safety regulations.
Requirements:
  • Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) driving license.
  • Minimum of 2 years of HGV 1 driving experience, preferably with curtain-sided vehicles.
  • Up-to-date Driver CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence).
  • Valid digital tachograph card.
  • Excellent driving skills with a strong understanding of road safety regulations. Good communication and organizational skills.
  • Physically fit to handle loading and unloading tasks.
