Certain Advantage, a leading defence organisation based in Bristol, is currently seeking two Embedded ADA Software Engineers on an initial 12-month contract. This role will likely require on-site presence, with the option to work a four-day week.
Key Requirements:
- Experience in Ada programming
- Solid background in safety-critical software from defence, aerospace, rail, nuclear or medical sectors
- High standards of coding, processes and documentation required due to the development's safety-critical nature
Favorable Skills:
- Formal design methods and tools: Doors, Dimensions, UML/SysML/Mascot
- Experience in developing Linux and networking applications
The department works at the forefront of European missile system design, delivering safe, secure and reliable products to customers. The team engages across the entire software engineering lifecycle, from discussing requirement changes with the systems team to qualification and software releases.
Compensation: £68.00 per hour (Umbrella rate)
Contract Duration: Initially 12 months, with ongoing opportunities
