Maternity Services Manager

We are seeking an experienced midwife to lead our maternity services team. As a Maternity Services Manager, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the maternity assessment suite, ensuring high standards of safe care and a positive experience for women and their families.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in complex antenatal care, with experience in implementing changes within practice and managing risk. You will also possess a sound knowledge base in relation to clinical governance and relevant policies and procedures.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, supporting the implementation of local and national drivers in maternity services. You will be working closely with the wider multi-disciplinary team, including the escalation of women with a changing clinical need.
As a Maternity Services Manager, you will be responsible for managing staff rosters, appraisals, and training, as well as staff development and support. You will also support senior management with the implementation of local and national drivers, including the Ockenden recommendations.
