Senior Process Engineer

We are seeking a Senior Process Engineer to strengthen our engineering team at MWH Treatment. This role will be based at our Bristol or Exeter office with hybrid working available.

As a Senior Process Engineer, you will report directly to the Regional Discipline Lead - Process and be responsible for providing high-quality Engineering Design services to minimize risks and maximize profits on turnkey and engineering services contracts.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Producing design layouts that are cost-effective, meet the requirements of the specification, and can be constructed and commissioned effectively.
  • Ensuring standard practices are utilized wherever possible, maintaining competitiveness, and providing estimates and feedback for the Proposals department.
  • Working to procedures and processes to ensure the continuing development of the department.
  • Assisting in developing procedures and processes, monitoring and reviewing them, and writing, updating, and monitoring efficient procedures to aid the smooth running of the department.
  • Coordinating designs with all other disciplines internal and external to MWH Treatment to ensure that the design processes carried out on the contract are coordinated for the benefit of the contract as a whole.
  • Maintaining files and records throughout the duration of contracts.
  • Ensuring customer satisfaction and working within a culture where satisfying the customer is recognized as the key to achieving other objectives.
  • Maintaining a personal development plan and assisting in supervising and developing staff.
  • Assisting in ensuring a safe working environment for all staff and reducing waste to a minimum from all departmental activities.
  • Ensuring designs take account of environmental issues and health and safety requirements.
