A new role has become available for a skilled Courier Operations Clerk to join DivalentineCalver Recruitment Ltd, a well-established UK & International Freight & Courier Agent based in Ashford.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience in courier operations and excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Key responsibilities include:
- Organising the courier team to ensure efficient operations
- Managing orders and tracking shipments using the in-house system Courier Navigator
- Providing excellent customer service and responding to client inquiries
- Assisting with stocktaking and maintaining accurate records
- Coordinating with the team to meet deadlines and achieve targets
Requirements for the role include:
- Previous experience in courier operations
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Basic IT skills, including Excel and Word
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good geographical knowledge and basic numeracy skills
Working hours for this position are Monday to Friday, 9am to 5:30pm, with occasional overtime paid. The salary is £26-27k depending on experience.
