Job Description:

The Royal Greenwich Educational Psychology & Wellbeing Service (EP&WS) is seeking an experienced Educational Psychologist to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our service, you will work closely with our team of Educational Psychologists, Assistant Educational Psychologists, and other professionals to provide high-quality support to children, young people, and their families.

Our service is committed to delivering a consultation model of service delivery, valuing and respecting the diversity of approaches and interests across the team. We promote child and family-centred practices and work creatively to develop bespoke intervention plans.

You will have the opportunity to work on a range of projects, including:

  • Supporting the delivery of our highly-regarded ELSA programme – both training and supervision.
  • Delivering interventions including VIG, cognitive behavioural approaches, MeLSA, and Emotion Coaching.
  • Running multi-family therapy groups.
  • Developing a LA-wide offer to support children and young people with ADHD.
  • Delivering training, development programmes, supervision, and coaching for school and setting staff.
  • Providing organisational consultancy for schools and early years settings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality educational psychology services to children, young people, and their families.
  • Work collaboratively with our team to develop and deliver projects and interventions.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of our service's strategic plan.
  • Provide clinical supervision and support to Assistant Educational Psychologists and other team members.
  • Participate in regular team meetings and contribute to the development of our service's policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Registered with the HCPC as an Educational Psychologist.
  • Experience of working in a consultation model of service delivery.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work with children, young people, and their families from diverse backgrounds.
