Job Title: Client Acquisition Specialist

Estimated Salary: £60,000 - £80,000 per annum

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Client Acquisition Specialist to join our team at ENGINEERINGUK. The successful candidate will be responsible for recruiting Sellers onto our SAS programmes and managing a pipeline of internal leads to qualify and engage with prospective Sellers.

The ideal candidate will have relevant experience within Sales/Recruitment, a proven track record of exceeding sales targets using a consultative approach, and strong analytical skills including Microsoft Excel.

This is an excellent opportunity to work with Sellers to build relationships with key influencers and decision-makers, and present a compelling Paid Services solution that meets and exceeds their requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop a clear understanding of our Sellers and their needs, along with the programme features and functionalities.
  • Articulate compelling, tailored value propositions targeting Seller needs.
  • Manage a pipeline of internal leads, to qualify, and engage with prospective Sellers.
  • Work closely with the internal Marketplace Consultant team to smoothly onboard Sellers.
  • Understand and utilise CRM tools to track pertinent account information and sales progress.
  • Forecast and prioritise to meet or exceed quarterly targets.
  • Represent the programme at internal and external Seller events.
  • Manage internal projects to drive improvements at team level, providing feedback on the value proposition to affect change and implementing initiatives to close business.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent experience.
  • Relevant experience within Sales/Recruitment.
  • Experience prospecting, qualifying, and cold-calling companies.
  • Demonstrated success in exceeding sales targets using a consultative, solutions-focused approach.
  • Proven ability to successfully influence at all levels within an organisation, particularly at the executive level.
  • Ability to prioritise and manage multiple responsibilities.
  • Experience in presenting a service to a broad audience at public events.
  • Customer-focused and relentless in doing what is right for the customer.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Sound business judgment and proven ability to influence others.
  • Strong analytical skills including Microsoft Excel.
  • Experience in e-commerce.
  • Superior communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to thrive in an ambiguous environment, prioritising and managing multiple responsibilities.
  • Creative, initiative-driven, and able to constructively advocate on behalf of the customer.
