Are you a skilled technician looking for a new challenge? Volvo Car UK is seeking experienced Vehicle Technicians to join our team in Croydon and Crawley.

We offer a safe and friendly environment with state-of-the-art facilities, equipment, and workshop technology. As a Vehicle Technician, you will be part of a fantastic team working with a brand dedicated to making life easier, better, and safer for everyone.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Servicing and maintenance of all vehicles across the brand.
  • Electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic fault diagnosis and repair.
  • Department of Transport (MOT) testing duties (if qualified).
  • Completing job cards and electronic write-ups on franchise platforms.
  • Supporting Apprentice Technicians as required.

What you'll bring:

  • Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic (or transferable skills within a similar role) with technical expertise to work at pace.
  • A team-player who is comfortable operating with set processes and procedures.
  • A qualified Vehicle Technician with an industry-recognised qualification, ideally level 3 but level 2 will be considered (IMI, City & Guilds or equivalent).
  • Ability to carry out MOT's is desirable, but not essential as full training will be offered.
  • Motivated, dedicated, and organised with a focus on Health & Safety in the workplace.

What's on offer:

  • Salary £27,000 - £43,000 per year (depending on experience).
  • Bonus scheme - take home an extra £600 - £1600 per month.
  • 25 days holiday + Bank Holidays.

  • Full manufacturers training provided and regular development courses (including Electric Vehicle and High Voltage Technician training).
