AECOM, a world-renowned infrastructure consulting firm, is seeking an experienced Environmental Consultant to join our marine projects team. As a trusted advisor, you will play a critical role in delivering high-profile projects that drive positive environmental outcomes.

About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated individual to support the management of environmental inputs across a diverse range of marine projects. The successful candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of marine consenting and licensing regimes, as well as excellent project management skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the management of environmental inputs across multiple marine projects.
  • Coordinate the production of EIA screening and scoping reports, environmental assessments/Environmental Statements, and supporting documents.
  • Provide technical expertise on specialist chapters and review documentation to ensure high-quality standards.
  • Work collaboratively with integrated teams to identify environmental constraints and develop mitigation solutions.
  • Support senior staff with client relationships, internal teams, and subcontractors.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Comprehensive EIA consultancy experience, preferably with proven skills in managing environmental report preparation and technical review.
  • A suitable understanding of marine consenting and licensing regimes around the UK (knowledge of Ireland's marine consenting regime would be desirable).
  • Strong project management skills, including resource allocation, budgeting, and programming.
  • The ability to work closely with clients and provide bespoke advice to support their goals.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including technical reviewing and stakeholder engagement.

Salary Estimate

We estimate the salary for this position to be between £60,000 and £80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
