About the Vacancy


This exciting role within the Royal Air Force (RAF) presents a fantastic opportunity to join the logistics team as a Supply Chain Warehousing Operative apprentice.



Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing logistical support to RAF aircraft and vehicles globally, encompassing end-to-end management of fuels and lubricants, storage and warehouse operations, and travel to various locations worldwide.



Key Responsibilities


  • Provide logistical support for RAF aircraft and vehicles across the globe.
  • Manage fuels and lubricants from pipeline receipts to refuelling of aircraft.
  • Work in storage and warehouse areas, potentially handling secret, explosive or classified assets.
  • Travel worldwide to support operations in challenging locations.


Training and Qualifications

As an apprentice in the RAF, you will be trained to play a key role in the organisation's mission to defend the UK skies and project power around the world. You will also contribute to delivering humanitarian aid globally, as directed by the UK Government.



Requirements


  • No educational qualifications are required for this role.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills.
  • Confidence with IT systems.
  • Good organisational and administrative skills.
  • Customer care and problem-solving abilities.

This vacancy is based at RAF Cranwell, NG34 8HZ. Working hours will vary depending on operational requirements, but you can expect to work a standard 37-hour week, including some evenings and weekends.
