Contract Electrician

Able Group is seeking a skilled electrician for reactive maintenance to join our team as a contract electrician - testing & inspection. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a self-employed/contracting basis with a leading nationwide reactive maintenance firm.

The successful candidate will be responsible for completing site paperwork, managing their workload, and interacting with customers in a professional manner. They will need to have NICEIC Approved Contractor membership, City & Guilds 7671 18th Edition certification, and a full set of tools.

• City & Guilds 7671 18th Edition qualification is essential.
• NICEIC Approved Contractor membership is also necessary.
• They must have sufficient stock to complete most basic replace/refit works.
• Ability to provide quotes and alternative solutions on jobs when required
• Willingness to cover emergency/time-sensitive works during normal working hours, evenings, and weekends
• Confidence in resolving issues in a quick and time-efficient manner
• Access to your own works vehicle to travel to and from jobs
• Ability to act in a polite and professional manner
• Clean and tidy on all works
• Health and Safety Qualification
• Risk Assessment Qualification (preferred, not essential)

We offer a competitive salary of around £45,000 per annum and a consistent flow of work. Our digital advertising and 24-hour support will also be available to the successful candidate.
