Our client, a leading automotive first tier supplier, is seeking a Junior Sales Engineer to join their internal sales team.

This varied role involves acting as the first point of contact for incoming customer calls, resolving or escalating issues as necessary.

You will establish long-term working relationships with customers and collaborate with colleagues from Business Development, Purchasing, Engineering, Quality, Logistics, and Material Control to ensure customer satisfaction.

The ideal candidate will have a graduate-level qualification in a relevant discipline, such as Engineering or Business, and at least 3 years of experience in internal sales or customer account management within the automotive or aerospace industry.

European language skills, particularly French or German, are a significant advantage.

The role is office-based with limited hybrid flexibility, and the ideal candidate will likely reside in the surrounding areas of Sutton Coldfield, Lichfield, Burton upon Trent, Tamworth, Nuneaton, Hinckley, or north Birmingham.

The salary for this position is around £35-40,000, plus benefits.
