About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Clinical Psychologist to join our team at Barchester Healthcare, where you will provide specialist psychology services to support the well-being of our patients. As a Clinical Psychologist, you will work with patients who may be experiencing emotional distress, depression, anxiety, OCD, phobias, psychosis, and other conditions. Your role will involve selecting, administering, and interpreting psychometric and neuropsychological tests, as well as liaising with referrers, GPs, and other professionals to develop and review care and risk management plans.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver complex and sensitive information to patients and their carers
  • Make psychological interventions with patients and their carers
  • Keep accurate records of patient progress and treatment plans
  • Supervise the work of other multi-disciplinary staff as needed
