About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to work as an HNT, supporting learners with special educational needs and disabilities. You will work closely with our experienced team to develop and deliver tailored learning plans that meet the unique needs of each learner.

Key Responsibilities:
  • To plan and deliver a tailored learning programme that meets the individual needs of learners
  • Develop effective relationships with learners, parents/carers and staff
  • To assess and evaluate the progress of learners and adjust the learning programme accordingly
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure seamless support for learners

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 year s experience in 14-24 provision.
  • Full Teaching Qualification (PGCE, QTS, PTLLS, DTLLS,)
  • Experience of teaching students within the field of Autism and/or Special Educational Needs (SEN)
  • To be a patient, resilient and motivated individual.
  • Excellent communication & interpersonal skills
  • Have vision, innovation and passion for teaching and learning.
  • Experience, knowledge and understanding of safeguarding processes

The salary for this position is £23,000 - £33,000 per annum, depending on experience, skills & qualifications. Located in Colchester, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of learners and make a real difference in their lives.
