About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Accountant to join our Airline Accounting and Control team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for promoting compliance across our financial accounting processes, ensuring a robust balance sheet, and identifying risks and opportunities as they emerge.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of underlying accounting policies, processes, and systems.
  • Authorise journals created by the wider business and review and challenge the Airline balance sheet.
  • Lead on technical accounting issues and deploy expertise in supporting the Airline Functional Finance teams through business and system changes.
  • Continuously review and optimise routine activities and promote a culture of continuous improvement across your team and others.
About You

We are looking for a finance professional with experience of financial/management accounting, who is comfortable and confident in the use of office and SAP systems. You will have strong analytical, accurate, and number-driven skills, with the ability to follow and challenge process, adapt and promote change, and work under pressure to deliver to tight deadlines.
