We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Science Technician to join our team at a successful 11-16 academy in Greater Manchester.
About the Role:The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining equipment, constructing and modifying apparatus, setting up experiments, and taking an active part in laboratory demonstrations.
They will also be responsible for ordering resources, keeping budgets, and helping in practical classes.
The ideal candidate will have a degree in science and a COSHH qualification for science technicians.
About the School:The school is part of a large multi-academy trust in Greater Manchester with outstanding leaders.

Requirements:- A degree in science plus a COSHH Science technician qualification
- 6 weeks' experience of working in a school or college with children aged 11-18
- This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional references checks
- Provide a CV with 10 years of employment/education history included and any employment breaks must be explained
