**Job Summary:** Triple West Medical is seeking a highly skilled Rheumatology Consultant to join their successful Medicine department on a Substantive or NHS Fixed Term basis for 12 months.

We are a major provider of integrated hospital and community services, offering care to over half a million patients annually. Our aim is to provide comprehensive and value for money care, ensuring patients receive the right treatment at the right time.

**Job Description:**

The Rheumatology clinics include general Rheumatology clinics, Early Arthritis Clinics with access to MSK ultrasound, Rheumatology Hot Clinics, and telephone clinics. The post holder will participate in clinical pathway development, specialist services like vasculitis or connective tissue disease, and provide support for specialist nurses and junior trainees.

The post holder will also have opportunities to participate in clinical research and teach medical undergraduate students from Oxford University and the University of Buckingham.

**Key Responsibilities:**
  1. Provide expert care to patients in Rheumatology clinics
  2. Develop clinical pathways and specialist services
  3. Support specialist nurses and junior trainees
  4. Participate in clinical research
  5. Teach medical undergraduate students
**Requirements:**
  • GMC Registration required
